Salesforce Developer-Education Cloud

Are you an experienced Salesforce Developer with hands-on Education Cloud expertise? Our client is seeking a developer to play a key role in a large-scale Salesforce transformation, migrating from Salesforce Sales Cloud to Education Cloud. • Job Type: 2 years contract
• Location: remote-PST hours
• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $75-125/hr
• No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Salesforce Education Cloud solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, and Force.com APIs.
• Build and enhance Education Cloud functionality, including student and constituent data models, programs, courses, and enrollment processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with higher education business needs.
• Develop, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and support Salesforce applications while maintaining platform performance and best practices.
• Support enterprise integrations, data synchronization, and reporting initiatives utilizing tools such as MuleSoft, Tableau, and third-party data synchronization solutions when applicable.

What Gets You the Job: 

• 2+ years of Salesforce development experience with required hands-on Salesforce Education Cloud development experience.
• Experience working within a higher education environment and understanding education-focused business processes.
• Strong technical expertise with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Triggers, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, and Salesforce platform architecture.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business users, technical teams, and leadership.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Tableau, Salesforce certifications, or enterprise integration projects is a plus.
