Campus Recruiting Coordinator (Contract)

Join our client as a Campus Recruiting Coordinator and play a key role in delivering an exceptional candidate experience for top university talent. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative opportunity for an organized recruiting professional who enjoys building relationships, coordinating multiple priorities, and helping attract outstanding early-career talent. You’ll partner closely with recruiters and business leaders while serving as a trusted point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting process.

Location: Hybrid – Detroit, MI (2-3 days onsite per week)

Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $25-$30/hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for candidates interviewing with the Pittsburgh office, including interview scheduling, candidate communications, offer letter generation, and office visit coordination.
  • Lead candidate screening efforts, coordinate interview days, facilitate hiring decision meetings, and maintain recruiting data and candidate pipelines.
  • Plan and execute campus recruiting events, interview workshops, networking events, office visits, and candidate cultivation activities for Carnegie Mellon University (CMU).
  • Build strong relationships with candidates, providing guidance and support throughout the recruiting process while partnering with recruiters, consultants, and leadership.
  • Analyze recruiting activity and results, identify opportunities for process improvements, and ensure recruiting systems remain accurate and up to date.

What Gets You the Job: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required with approximately 2-5 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, campus recruiting, HR, or related experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, shifting deadlines, and competing demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Proven ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Professionalism, sound judgment, discretion with confidential information, and the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
