Senior Analyst

- Location: Chicago, IL – Onsite
- 1 year contract – Potential for extension
- Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $40-45/hour W2

What You’ll Do:
- Conduct deep technical and cost analyses to reverse engineer products and services, identifying opportunities for margin improvement and cost reduction
- Evaluate product specifications, materials, and features to compare competitive offerings and inform design and procurement decisions
- Build and maintain detailed product cost models to support engineering, sourcing, and portfolio optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with small, high-impact consulting teams and client stakeholders to translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Contribute to firm-wide knowledge by sharing insights, tools, and best practices across global teams
What Gets You the Job:
- 2+ years of experience in electrical design and manufacturing, including roles in R&D, testing, systems integration, or similar environments
- Strong understanding of PCBA design and manufacturing, including signal integrity, EMC/EMI considerations, and IC functionality
- Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, or Eagle; AutoCAD familiarity is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field with a strong academic record (minimum GPA 3.4)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and in collaborative, fast-paced environments
