Project Manager – Time & Attendance / Field Workforce Systems

Irvine Technology Corporation (ITC) is partnering with a national mechanical construction organization to identify a Project Manager – Time & Attendance / Field Workforce Systems to lead the implementation of a new enterprise time capture solution. This role will focus on deploying a scalable Time & Attendance platform that supports field operations, workforce management, and payroll integration across construction, shop, and service environments.

This position plays a critical role in a large-scale Workday implementation initiative, working alongside PwC as the implementation partner and a cross-functional core team of approximately 30 stakeholders across IT, Payroll, HR, Finance, and Field Operations.

  • Job Type: contract (12 months+)
  • Location: remote with up to (10% travel)
  • Compensation: $70-85/hr
  • No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

What You’ll Do:

  • L ead the implementation and rollout of an enterprise Time & Attendance platform supporting field workforce operations and labor tracking.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and vendor coordination across multiple initiatives related to workforce technology.
  • Partner with field operations, payroll, HR, finance, and IT teams to translate real-world labor workflows into scalable system solutions.
  • Oversee integrations between time capture platforms and enterprise systems such as Workday HCM/Payroll and ERP/job costing systems.
  • Drive user adoption through change management, training programs, and communication strategies for both field and back-office teams.

What Gets You the Job: 

  • 5+ years of project management experience delivering workforce technology or operational system implementations.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Time & Attendance or field workforce solutions such as Rhumbix, ALMobile, Workday Time Tracking, UKG (Kronos), HeavyJob, or ExakTime.
  • Strong understanding of construction or field labor workflows, including payroll, job costing, union environments, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing integrations across enterprise systems including HR, payroll, ERP, and operational platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate effectively with field teams, business leaders, and technical stakeholders.
