.NET Developer

• Job Type: Contract – 6+ Months

• Location: Remote (EST Hours Required)

• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $60-$70.00/hr

• No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#/.NET and Visual Studio, following best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures within MS SQL Server to support robust data-driven solutions.
• Implement and manage messaging queue and topic solutions using JMS, ensuring reliable and efficient data communication across systems.
• Perform hands-on production triaging, diagnosing and resolving issues in live environments to minimize downtime and maintain system integrity.
• Collaborate on system architecture and design decisions, leveraging tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jira, IIS Server, and AWS services as needed.

What Gets You the Job:

• Proven proficiency in C#/.NET development with a strong command of Visual Studio and MS SQL Server, including stored procedures and database design.
• Hands-on experience with JMS messaging systems and working knowledge of Java development in a professional environment.
• Familiarity with version control and project management tools including Git/Bitbucket, Jira, and Maven.
• Experience with IIS Server and/or Tomcat for application hosting and configuration.
• Exposure to AWS tools and services (CloudWatch, SNS/SQS, .NET SDK) and/or Oracle database is a strong plus.
