Senior Procurement Consultant

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Consultant to provide interim leadership and project support for our client’s global procurement function. This role will oversee strategic sourcing, technology procurement, supplier lifecycle management, procurement operations, and procure-to-pay controls. The consultant will partner with senior stakeholders to qualify purchasing demand, align procurement activity with business needs, and ensure Procurement is engaged before commercial commitments are made.  The Senior Procurement Consultant will also oversee the Procurement Operations Center of Excellence, maintain responsive global service, and advance priority procurement initiatives throughout the assignment.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and execute a global procurement strategy, manage purchasing intake and demand qualification, and direct complex RFI, RFP, and RFX processes across procurement categories.
• Lead enterprise technology sourcing and negotiations involving software licensing, subscriptions, renewals, utilization, compliance, manufacturers, resellers, and strategic suppliers.
• Manage the complete supplier lifecycle, including contracting, onboarding, performance management, renewals, escalations, governance, and supplier exits.
• Oversee procure-to-pay operations from requisition and ServiceNow intake through purchase order generation, invoice matching, approval controls, asset management, and exception resolution.
• Lead the Hyderabad Procurement Operations Center of Excellence while advancing procurement analytics, financial reporting, automation, process standardization, stakeholder training, and the Workday and ServiceNow technology roadmap.

What Gets You the Job: 

• Eight to ten years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract management, and procurement operations, including leadership responsibility.
• Extensive experience leading complex sourcing initiatives, negotiating enterprise technology agreements, and managing software licensing, renewals, utilization, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of procurement governance and procure-to-pay operations, including accounts payable dependencies, three-way matching, approval routing, segregation of duties, and asset controls.
• Experience with Workday or a comparable ERP purchasing platform and ServiceNow or a similar procurement intake and workflow solution.
• Bachelor’s degree with strong executive communication, stakeholder management, commercial decision support, and financial acumen across budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, spend analysis, savings, and cost avoidance. An MBA, CPSM, or CIPS certification is preferred.
