Release Manager

Are you passionate about driving successful software releases and keeping cross-functional teams aligned? We are seeking a Release Manager to lead enterprise software releases from planning through production deployment. In this role, you will partner with Product, Engineering, QA, Business, and Operations teams to ensure releases are well-coordinated, predictable, and delivered with a high level of quality and business readiness.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the enterprise release calendar and coordinate release schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deployment activities across multiple teams.
  • Lead release readiness efforts, including planning sessions, go/no-go meetings, production deployments, post-release validation, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to coordinate UAT, training, release communications, and operational readiness for new features and system changes.
  • Provide clear communication on release scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and overall delivery status to technical teams, business partners, and executive leadership.
  • Continuously improve release management processes, governance, documentation, reporting, and delivery transparency using Agile best practices and Jira.

What Gets You the Job: 

  • 5+ years of experience coordinating enterprise software releases across Product, Engineering, QA, Business, and Operations teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and release management best practices.
  • Experience managing cross-functional dependencies, competing priorities, and stakeholder communications in complex technology environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira or similar Agile delivery tools, along with release governance, UAT coordination, and business readiness activities.
  • Experience within mortgage, financial services, or another regulated industry is highly preferred.
