VP of Product
Our client is looking for a VP of Product to lead the strategy, delivery, and optimization of critical enterprise applications supporting mortgage origination and related business functions. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who can bring structure to a fast-growing environment, elevate product maturity, and drive collaboration across technology and business teams.
The ideal candidate is a strong product leader with deep mortgage origination expertise and the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. You’ll play a key role in shaping prioritization processes, improving delivery standards, and building scalable product practices while partnering closely with executive leadership, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and QA teams.

What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, prioritization, and delivery of enterprise applications supporting mortgage origination and related business functions
- Build and mature product management processes, governance frameworks, and technology roadmaps to support scalable growth and operational excellence
- Partner closely with Operations, Compliance, Risk, QA, and executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business priorities and regulatory requirements
- Oversee and mentor Product and QA teams, helping evolve analysts into product-focused contributors while fostering accountability and collaboration
- Drive platform optimization, application modernization, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives across mission-critical systems
What Gets You the Job:
Qualifications
- 15+ years of technology leadership experience, including extensive experience supporting enterprise mortgage origination platforms
- Strong product leadership background with experience formalizing processes, prioritization frameworks, and delivery standards within growing organizations
- Deep understanding of mortgage origination workflows, including loan processing, underwriting, closing, and wholesale lending operations
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience with cloud-based applications, API integrations, enterprise application scalability, and technology transformation initiatives
