Quality Assurance Analyst (On-site)

Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support application testing, documentation, and release quality in an Agile software development environment. This is a strong opportunity for an early to mid-career QA professional who enjoys hands-on testing, learning complex applications, improving test coverage, and working closely with software engineering teams to help deliver reliable, high-quality products.

  • Job Type: Full-time, direct hire
  • Location: Sandy, UT (On-site)
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $60,000 – $100,000 per year plus bonus
  • No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

What You’ll Do:

  • Write, update, and execute test cases, test plans, release documentation, and QA supporting materials for business applications.
  • Test new features, enhancements, bug fixes, APIs, data workflows, and application functionality across the software development lifecycle.
  • Identify, document, and communicate issues, defects, recurring problems, and potential risks to development and product teams.
  • Participate in Agile meetings, QA reviews, release activities, and application discussions while continuing to build deeper knowledge of the codebase and systems.
  • Support improvements to QA standards, test coverage, documentation, automation, and overall quality processes.

What Gets You the Job: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related QA, software testing, or application testing experience.
  • Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman, with exposure to automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, pytest, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of QA testing methods, including regression, integration, system, end-to-end, performance, sanity, and user acceptance testing.
  • Hands-on experience validating data accuracy, integrity, completeness, or reporting outputs across data pipelines, applications, or analytics environments.
  • Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and interest in using AI or automation tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.
