Sr. Network Engineer (FortiGate & F5 Load Balancing)
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support ongoing network infrastructure operations, maintenance, and improvements across enterprise and data center environments. This role will focus heavily on firewall and load balancer management, network troubleshooting, and maintaining reliable, highly available infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and F5 load balancers.

Location: Remote/Everett, WA 98208. Occasional onsite work required (approximately 1–2 times per month).
Duration: 6+ month contract with potential to extend
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $65–75/hr W2.

What You’ll Do:
- Configure, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Fortinet FortiGate across enterprise network environments.
- Support and administer F5 load balancers, including configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and application traffic management.
- Perform ongoing network infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, configuration changes, and troubleshooting across data center and corporate network environments.
- Support enterprise routing, switching, connectivity, and network infrastructure improvements while partnering with internal technical teams.
What Gets You the Job:
- 6+ years of hands-on Network Engineering experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
- Hands-on experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting F5 load balancers, including BIG-IP technologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise/data center networking, routing, switching, network maintenance, and complex troubleshooting.
- Experience with Cisco Firepower firewalls is a plus!
Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to Everett, WA and be available for occasional onsite work.
