IT Contracts Manager

Our client is seeking a driven IT Contracts Manager to take ownership of a multimillion-dollar IT contracts portfolio and serve as the go-to expert for all contract-related activities. - Job Type: Contract – June through December
- Location: Monrovia, CA (on-site)
- Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $45 – 70/hr
- No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the full lifecycle of the IT contracts portfolio, including vendor selection, contract development, negotiations, modifications, renewals, and enforcement of performance clauses.
- Perform comprehensive analysis of MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, and service and licensing agreements to ensure proper legal language, liabilities, indemnifications, and terms are executed.
- Conduct contract risk management, including audits, dispute resolution, and ongoing compliance monitoring for software licensing and telecommunications billing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT Program/Project Management, Finance, and Accounting teams to align contract terms with project milestones and financial controls.
- Continuously evaluate and improve contract processes, recommend cost-reduction alternatives, and maintain current knowledge of contract trends, licensing models, and compliance standards.
What Gets You the Job:
- 7+ years of experience in IT contract management or a related field, with a proven track record overseeing a multimillion-dollar contracts portfolio end to end.
- Deep working knowledge of IT contractual documents including MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, and service and licensing agreements, with strong command of legal language and risk mitigation.
- Strong analytical skills with experience managing large data sets in Excel and documenting process flows in tools such as Visio.
- Hands-on experience with procurement and contract management platforms such as SAP Ariba, Apptio, or Jira.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and build strong partnerships across IT, Finance, and Accounting teams.
