Desktop Support Technician

Our client is seeking a dependable and hands-on Desktop Support Technician to join their team on a part-time contract basis. This is a dynamic, fast-paced opportunity to play a key role in a high-visibility office relocation project, working alongside a collaborative IT team in a fast-moving environment. Job Type: Contract (Part-Time)

Location: Century City, Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)

Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $25-$33/hr, DOE

What You’ll Do:

  • Support an office relocation by physically setting up monitors, workstations, printers, and conference room A/V equipment at the new location.
  • Provide Level 1 & 2 help desk and desktop support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral issues for end users in both Mac and Windows environments.
  • Configure and test user workstations, ensuring connectivity and functionality of key collaboration tools including Zoom, Slack, and Outlook.
  • Set up and test conference rooms, including A/V equipment, ensuring spaces are ready for business on day one.
  • Assist IT staff with hands-on tasks throughout the move, including lifting and transporting equipment safely between locations.

What Gets You the Job:

  • Experience with both Mac and Windows environments, including setup, configuration, and user support.
  • Level 1 & 2 help desk or desktop support background with strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, and Outlook.
  • Comfort with the physical demands of the role, including lifting equipment, bending, and working in an active move environment.
  • A/V setup experience and the ability to configure conference room technology is a plus.
