Network Architect

Our client is seeking a experienced Network Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise network infrastructure. This is a high-impact role responsible for shaping long-term network strategy, modernizing data center environments, and ensuring secure, resilient, and high-performing connectivity across the organization. Location: Remote (must be open to approximately 10% travel as needed)
Compensation: This job is expected to pay between $190,000 and $215,000 base salary

What You’ll Do:

• Design and architect enterprise-wide network solutions across LAN, WAN, wireless, VoIP, and data center environments.
• Lead long-term infrastructure planning, including data center builds and modernization initiatives, ensuring minimal risk and downstream impact during technology transitions.
• Drive network security and performance optimization efforts, including firewall strategy, VPN architecture, and resiliency planning.
• Serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert, guiding engineers, reviewing documentation, and overseeing complex infrastructure projects.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors to align network architecture with evolving business needs and technology roadmaps.

What Gets You the Job:

• Extensive experience in network engineering and architecture, including enterprise-scale LAN/WAN and data center environments.
• Strong expertise in network security, routing protocols, wireless technologies, and VoIP infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading infrastructure projects and contributing to strategic technology direction.
• Active CCIE certification is required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
