Operations Lead (Modeling & Analytics)
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and self-motivated Operations Lead to support the development and ongoing enhancement of a Bond Administration application. This role plays a critical part in maintaining complex bond payment models, resolving payment discrepancies, and partnering closely with internal teams to improve systems and processes. The ideal candidate brings deep mortgage-backed securities knowledge, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Location: Fully Remote (EST Time Zone)
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $60-63/hr

What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and reverse engineer deal-level payment rules used to calculate multi-class securitization factors and payments
- Onboard new securities and deals to support bond administration, disclosure, and tax calculations
- Analyze and troubleshoot bond payment differences, documenting requirements for defects and enhancements
- Collaborate with product owners, clients, and stakeholders to identify and implement process and system improvements
- Lead or participate in testing and acceptance of new platform functionality, queries, and reporting
What Gets You the Job:
- 7+ years of experience, including at least 3 years supporting mortgage-backed securities or related financial products
- Strong analytical and technical skills, including advanced Excel, SQL, and exposure to VBA or C++
- Solid understanding of MBS, securitization structures, and the housing finance industry
- Experience developing analyses, reports, or data queries for operations or management teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
