Senior NetSuite Consultant (Financials)

Our client is seeking a Senior NetSuite Consultant to join their company for a contract position that is open to conversion to permanent employee. The Senior NetSuite consultant will act as a hands-on technology expert and IT system owner for ERP and other financial and procurement systems.

• Location: Remote (Pacific Time Zone business hours)
• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $80-90/hr W2 plus benefits
• Client does not offer H1B sponsorship at time of conversion

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement new functionalities and process improvements with NetSuite ERP environment maintaining overall heath and performance of the platform
• Review and understand current business processes and bring best practices and guide finance stakeholders on leveraging NetSuite functionalities to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Act as a system administrator to manage role-based user access ensuring appropriate access controls to meet SOX compliance requirements.
• Design and implement automated custom workflows and integrations using native Suite platform
• Develop and maintain custom reports, saved searches, dashboards and KPIs tailored to department needs and role-based access to data
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, integration and performance issues and act as the first point of contact for NetSuite related issues
• Provide training and support to end users across departments
• Create and maintain clear documentation of system configurations, processes and customizations
• Ensure compliance with internal control, data privacy standards and industry regulations
• Manage external consultants and managed services vendors for specific projects or ongoing support.

What Gets You the Job: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, Finance or related field with 15+ years of relevant experience in architecting and implementing ERP and other finance systems
• Strong understanding of ERP concepts and business processes, with specific expertise in NetSuite modules such as Financials, Advanced Procurement, Inventory Management, and manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP administration and development, in a SOX regulated organization, good experience working with internal and external auditors on SOX audits and IT General controls related to NetSuite
• Profiency in SuiteScript, SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow and SuiteTalk
• Experience in developing integration NetSuite and other systems such as HR systems using middleware and APIs
• Experience in Financial Planning solutions such as Adaptive will be a plus
• Experience in performing impact assessment and regression testing of NetSuite functionalities for regular patch releases
• Familiar with waterfall and/or Agile project management methodologies
