Our client is seeking a forward-thinking Vice President of Cybersecurity & Compliance to lead enterprise security strategy and governance during an exciting period of growth and transformation. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for evaluating the current cybersecurity posture, driving maturity across all domains, and creating a scalable roadmap that aligns technology and business priorities. The ideal candidate will bring strong executive presence, comfort navigating complex organizations, and the ability to balance strategy with execution in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

  • Location: Onsite in Las Vegas, NV
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay a base of about $225-230k (flex) with great bonus & benefits.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assess the current cybersecurity landscape, perform gap analyses, and implement a tiered strategy to strengthen enterprise security and compliance maturity.
  • Lead a team of five across SOC, Identity & Access Management (iDAM), Governance/Risk/Compliance (GRC), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and security training.
  • Partner closely with legal and executive leadership to build and enforce a comprehensive document retention program.
  • Drive initiatives in DLP, data governance, and risk management while balancing regulatory, business, and resource constraints.
  • Champion innovation and guide the organization into responsible adoption of emerging technologies, including AI.

What Gets You the Job: 

  • 15+ years of progressive IT or cybersecurity leadership, with experience developing and executing enterprise-level security strategies.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex corporate and political landscapes, collaborating across legal, compliance, and executive functions.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks such as PCI, PII, GDPR, and gaming or hospitality compliance.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and managing DLP, data governance, and retention programs.
  • Strong leadership presence with a forward-leaning, decisive approach that balances strategy and operational delivery.
