Accounting Manager – Procurement & Payables
Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead their Accounts Payable and Procurement operations with a focus on process optimization and team development. - Location: Onsite in Irvine, CA
- Compensation: This job is expected to pay about 150-170k

What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Procurement operations, including PO matching, invoice processing, and supplier master file maintenance
- Lead and coach a team of 6–7, supporting their growth and performance
- Manage reconciliations for PPD and accrued accounts while ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Drive system and workflow enhancements to improve automation and ERP effectiveness
- Partner across departments to strengthen AP/Procurement processes and support ERP-related projects
What Gets You the Job:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Active CPA license
- At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience with both public and private backgrounds
- 2–5 years of supervisory or management experience, ideally leading AP or Procurement teams
- Strong technical skills with Oracle ERP, advanced Excel, and familiarity with procurement workflow tools
