Head of Treasury & Tax (Onsite – Irvine)
Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Treasury & Tax to lead treasury operations and tax compliance across a dynamic, growing organization. Reporting to the Director of Accounting & Controller, this role provides a unique opportunity to oversee cash management, investment strategies, and tax compliance while guiding high-performing teams. This is a pivotal leadership position with visibility across financial operations, external partners, and executive stakeholders.
Location: Irvine, CA
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $171,000-$285,000

What You’ll Do:
- Lead cash management, forecasting, and reporting, implementing best practices and automation to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Oversee tax compliance across federal, state, and local levels, partnering with external advisors to implement strategies and initiatives
- Manage relationships with banks, credit card processors, and financial service providers, including leading RFP processes
- Mentor and develop the treasury and tax teams, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement
- Oversee ERP enhancements, daily cash transactions, credit facility covenant compliance, and financial statement disclosures
What Gets You the Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax; advanced degree (MS Tax or MBA) preferred
- 15+ years of treasury and tax leadership experience with a strong record of people management
- CPA or CTP certification required
- Proven ability to manage banking relationships, credit card processors, and lead RFPs for financial services
- Strong ERP knowledge (Oracle preferred), with advanced Excel and MS Office skills
