Job Title: IT Security Engineer (On site Nashville )
Job Introduction:
Our client is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead the design and implementation of advanced security solutions that protect critical digital infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to shape security strategy across cloud, network, and systems, while mentoring junior engineers and driving layered security integration in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong analytical and communication skills to strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.
Location: On site Nashville, TN
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $130,000-$138,000

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security architecture across on-premises and cloud environments using industry-leading tools.
- Embed security into CI/CD pipelines and champion secure design practices for applications and APIs.
- Perform advanced risk analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response leveraging enterprise security platforms.
- Develop and enforce policies for network, identity, and data security with an emphasis on PKI and access frameworks.
- Mentor junior security engineers and collaborate across IT and business units to embed security into organizational processes.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in information security with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
- Expertise in tools such as Palo Alto Networks, F5 ASM, Akamai, CyberArk, Splunk, Sysdig, and cloud-native security platforms (GCP, Azure).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and hands-on experience with Terraform.
- In-depth knowledge of PKI, DNS security, privileged access management, and container/cloud security.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, PCNSE, Splunk Certified Architect, or GCP Cloud Security Engineer.
