Agile Coach (Marketing/eCommerce)
Our client is seeking an experienced Agile Coach to join their Marketing and IT organizations for a 3-month engagement. This role is a unique opportunity to guide Product Owners, improve collaboration between Marketing and Development, and drive more predictable, transparent delivery practices.
- Location: Southern California (remote, occasional meetings in Newport Beach)
- Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $70-80/hr and benefits
What You’ll Do:
• Partner with Marketing Product Owners to coach them on writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives with IT and Marketing teams
• Guide Product Owners through user acceptance testing and deployment readiness
• Act as a business advocate, ensuring requirements are well defined and aligned to outcomes
• Provide hands-on support when needed, including writing requirements or serving temporarily as a Product Owner
What Gets You the Job:
• Strong background as a Scrum Master with proven Agile coaching experience
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, assertive approach to stakeholder engagement
• Critical experience in eCommerce or Marketing environments
• Proficiency with Jira; bonus if you’ve worked with BitBucket and headless React applications
• Flexible and practical mindset—able to adapt Agile practices to fit real-world needs rather than follow a rigid playbook
