EDI Consultant (On-site)
We are seeking an experienced EDI Consultant to join our team onsite, serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on EDI transactions for our VP and cross-functional teams. This role requires strong expertise with Rithum EDI tools and a deep understanding of distribution processes including inventory management, purchase orders, product data, and invoice processing.
Location: On-site in Santa Ana, CA
This position expects to pay about $58 – $78 per hour plus benefits

What You Will Do:
- Serve as the SME for all EDI-related transactions and processes.
- Manage and support EDI transmissions for inventory, product data, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Collaborate directly with business users, external customers, and technical teams to gather, clarify, and translate business requirements.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of EDI solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues promptly and accurately.
- Analyze data and document flows to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor high-volume EDI transactions and ensure stability, accuracy, and performance.
- Provide input on process improvements and best practices for EDI workflows.
What You Bring to The Table:
- Strong experience with Rithum EDI tools – this is a must-have.
- Proven experience with EDI transmissions related to inventory, purchase orders, and invoice processing.
- Must have a strong understanding of data.
- Background in distribution or supply chain environments is required.
- Solid understanding of EDI document types.
- Excellent communication skills; able to bridge business needs with technical execution.
- Ability to work with high-profile, high-volume clients in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong data analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Collaborative and proactive approach to working with internal and external stakeholders.
