Desktop Support Engineer (Windows 10/11 Migration Project)

Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to assist with a large-scale Windows 10 to 11 migration and new device rollout. This is a 9-week onsite project where you will work independently, supporting end users across multiple business functions and ensuring a seamless upgrade experience.

Location: Tarboro, NC / Harrodsburg, KY / Greenfield, IN (onsite M–F)
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $30–35/hr W2

What You’ll Do:
• Perform laptop and desktop deployments, swapping out older equipment with new machines.
• Support Windows 10 to 11 migration, including setup, configuration, and validation.
• Provide direct end-user support for HR, sales, marketing, and administrative teams.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating as necessary.
• Ensure professional, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery.

What Gets You the Job:
• 3+ years of hands-on desktop support or IT field services experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
• Experience with laptop/desktop imaging, deployments, and migrations.
• Ability to work independently and professionally in an onsite environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.
