Data Engineer
Our client is seeking a hands-on and proactive Data Engineer to support the integration of a newly acquired business unit’s data into their existing ecosystem. This is a critical role for stabilizing and evolving pipeline infrastructure built on Azure Data Factory, while collaborating closely with stakeholders to identify gaps and troubleshoot future issues. - Location: Remote – Must work AZ hours (PDT)
- Compensation: $60-70/hour

What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and optimize Azure Data Factory pipelines to ensure ongoing data flow and stability
- Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues in a largely stable but evolving environment
- Document, assess, and improve data integration processes as needs evolve post-acquisition
- Collaborate cross-functionally to uphold standard guidelines and ensure scalable design
- Provide architectural and operational insight on emerging data requirements and tools
What Gets You the Job:
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, including pipeline maintenance and optimization
- Proficient with PostgreSQL for analytical and speed layer data workloads
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, ideally DynamoDB
- Familiarity with AWS Lambda functions and integrating data pipelines across cloud environments
- Experience with Snowflake and GitHub for data development and version control
