Senior HRIS Architect

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior HRIS Architect to help evolve and expand their Workday ecosystem through third-party system integration and advanced configuration. This is a development-forward role where you’ll be empowered to drive strategy and execution across critical people systems initiatives. You’ll work cross-functionally with Audit, Compliance, and business leaders while developing integrations, managing environments, and enhancing system architecture—all with a focus on security, scalability, and impact.

 

Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $62-$76 an hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain complex Workday integrations, including JSON-based third-party system connections
  • Design and execute Workday Extend and PRISM solutions to support cross-functional business needs
  • Own security roles and permission frameworks in alignment with SOX-compliance requirements
  • Monitor and manage test and production environments, including upgrade and patch processes
  • Partner on future-state people data model design, data governance, and technical architecture decisions

 

What Gets You the Job: 

  • 3–5 years of hands-on HRIS experience with a focus on Workday technical administration and integrations
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, and/or .NET
  • Background in system architecture, database management, and data visualization (Tableau/Power BI)
  • Experience in SOX-compliant environments and advanced Excel proficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to lead integration initiatives and collaborate across technical and business teams
