Director of IT Infrastructure
Our client is driving a major transformation and looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect & IT Strategist to help shape the foundation of their future. This is a unique opportunity to lead architectural strategy, influence critical technology decisions, and directly contribute to the company’s evolution into a payer organization. - Location: Remote (PST Hours, Occasional Travel to WA)
- Compensation: This job is expected to pay about 180k-220k

What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
• Build a long-term IT strategy and architecture roadmap aligned with business priorities and compliance goals
• Partner with executive leadership to establish a risk tolerance framework and integrate it into security and infrastructure decisions
• Assess current systems and identify opportunities to consolidate, upgrade, or replace technology components
• Define the architecture and integration strategies needed to support a scalable and secure payer and TPA model
• Work cross-functionally to align technical direction with regulatory, security, and business requirements
What Gets You the Job:
Qualifications
• 10+ years of enterprise architecture or IT strategy experience, with significant exposure to healthcare environments
• Proven knowledge of FHIR standards, system interoperability, and integration in multi-entity environments
• Strong experience in Azure (multi-cloud, multi-tenant), including infrastructure and application services
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance including HIPAA, HITRUST, and GDPR
• Track record of driving strategic roadmaps and leading complex technology transformations
