Desktop Support Technician Onsite in Los Angeles, CA

Join a team that plays a pivotal role in supporting critical desktop infrastructure for a large healthcare system. Our client is seeking two dedicated Desktop Support Technicians to provide exceptional hands-on support across hospitals and clinic locations. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse range of technologies and help ensure seamless IT operations in a dynamic clinical environment.

Location: On site: Los Angeles, California 
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $26/hr – $31/hr

What You’ll Do:

• Provide technical support to end users for desktop hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Perform imaging of PCs, laptops, and Macs using SCCM and Casper tools.
• Support the installation of printers, troubleshoot network ports, and assist with desktop patching in IDFs.
• Handle user and departmental moves, including remote users and remote site assistance.
• Maintain hardware inventory, prepare defective parts for return, and participate in on-call rotation.

What Gets You the Job: 

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support environment.
• Working knowledge of Windows 7/10, OS X, Office 2010 and 2016.
• Familiarity with Cerner, Footprints, and Kronos preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
