Chargeback Specialist – Payments & Risk Operations
Our client is looking for a Chargeback Specialist to join their Payment and Risk Operations team. In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for handling both issuing and acquiring side disputes, resolving chargebacks, and supporting customers throughout the process. You’ll work closely with internal tools and stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely resolution while maintaining a high standard of service. Location: Draper, UT – In office Tue–Thur (remote Mon & Fri)
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $21-22 per hour

What You’ll Do:
• Process issuing chargebacks, including investigation, documentation, and submission to processor
• Handle merchant disputes by reviewing, researching, and submitting representment letters
• Perform chargeback reconciliation and update dispute statuses in internal systems
• Communicate with customers via phone and email to request documentation and resolve issues
• Ensure all dispute milestones and service level agreements are met
What Gets You the Job:
• 2–5 years of experience in chargebacks (issuing or acquiring side) and customer service
• Experience handling customer service calls related to payment or financial services
• Familiarity with payment processing systems and dispute resolution workflows
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with high attention to detail
• Proficiency with Google Sheets and MS Excel is a plus
