Workday HCM Integration Engineer – remote PST 

Our client is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Integration Engineer to lead the initial phase of a high-impact integration initiative. This role offers the opportunity to shape the overall integration strategy, define architectural direction, and establish best practices that ensure data accuracy, reliability, and scalability. • Location: remote 

• Compensation: $63-95/hr 

• Duration: 9 months+ 

• No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role  

What You’ll Do:  

• Define and implement the overall Workday HCM integration strategy, including architecture and platform selection 

• Design robust data mapping, validation, and governance frameworks to ensure accuracy and integrity 

• Implement exception handling, monitoring, and alerting throughout the integration lifecycle 

• Partner with analytics teams to support dashboarding and visibility into integration performance 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a phased roadmap and detailed project timeline 

What Gets You the Job:? 

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday HCM Integration Engineer 

• Strong expertise in enterprise integration architecture and modern integration platforms (e.g., Workato, Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, Boomi) 

• Deep knowledge of data mapping methodologies, validation protocols, and governance best practices 

• Proven ability to create architectural documentation and clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders 

• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing integrations across multi-vendor environments
