Senior Web Developer

Our client is seeking a Senior Web Developer to build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications. This is a hands-on, full-stack development role with a strong back-end focus, ideal for someone experienced in both Python and PHP, who can also deliver clean, modern front-end interfaces using React and Next.js. The Senior Web Developer will play a key role in architecting APIs, integrating headless CMS platforms, and supporting dynamic, data-driven websites.

Location: Remote (Must work Pacific Time Zone hours)
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $120,000–$130,000 annually DOE

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications, with an emphasis on back-end services and integrations.
• Build and optimize APIs and serverless functions using Python, PHP, and AWS Lambda.
• Develop dynamic and responsive front-end experiences using JavaScript, React.js, and Next.js (TypeScript familiarity a plus).
• Work with headless CMS platforms (Hygraph or similar) to integrate structured content and improve workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including design, product, and QA—to deliver high-quality web solutions.

What Gets You the Job:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development with strong back-end expertise (Python and/or PHP).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, and Next.js with exposure to TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, or similar serverless and database technologies.
• Hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms such as Hygraph, Contentful, Strapi, or similar).
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work autonomously in a collaborative environment.
