Security Architect
Full-Time | Fully Remote (PST or MST) | Outstanding Benefits + Phenomenal Retirement Plan
We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to join our growing technology organization. This role blends strategic architecture with hands-on implementation and troubleshooting, helping to shape, strengthen, and secure our enterprise environment. You’ll lead initiatives across IAM, cloud, and threat management while collaborating closely with infrastructure, application, and governance teams.
Key Focus Areas

Identity and Access Management (IAM): Architect and optimize enterprise IAM solutions, ensuring least privilege and compliance alignment.

Cloud Security: Secure cloud environments using tools such as Wiz for posture management and Qualys for vulnerability detection.

Network and Data Security: Design and implement controls to protect data in motion and at rest.

Attack Surface Management: Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities across infrastructure and applications.

SIEM and Log Management: Manage and fine-tune Microsoft Sentinel and Cribl for real-time visibility and threat detection.

AI and Security Applications: Explore emerging AI-driven security tools to enhance detection, automation, and response capabilities.
Strategic & Analytical Responsibilities

Risk Management: Assess, prioritize, and align security controls with business objectives.

Threat Modeling & Secure Design: Design systems with security embedded from the ground up.

Compliance & Regulatory Expertise: Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.

Incident Response & Resilience: Develop, test, and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans.
Tools & Technologies

Microsoft Sentinel, Cribl, Wiz, Qualys, and related security platforms.
What You’ll Do

Serve as the architectural lead for enterprise security design and integration.

Provide hands-on implementation and troubleshooting as the environment evolves.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and governance teams to ensure cohesive and compliant security coverage.

Drive continuous improvement and adoption of modern security practices.
Ideal Candidate
-
7+ years in security engineering or architecture roles.

Deep experience in cloud and enterprise security frameworks.

Proven success implementing and managing IAM, SIEM, and cloud security tools.

Strong communicator with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Located in PST or MST time zones (role is fully remote).
