What You’ll Do:
- Perform manual bank and credit card reconciliations across 20 bank accounts and 30 corporate credit cards using advanced Excel techniques including pivot tables and VLookups
- Prepare and post journal entries including prepaids, accruals, and other general ledger activity, and maintain amortization schedules
- Process and review employee expense reimbursements while partnering with employees across divisions to resolve accounting inquiries
- Support month-end close activities and assist the Controller with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and audit-ready workpaper documentation
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives including participation in a transition to Oracle ERP
What Gets You the Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience
- Proven experience with high-volume bank and credit card reconciliations and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLookups, reconciliation schedules)
- Solid background in journal entries including prepaids and accruals, with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate workpapers
- Experience working with mid-sized or enterprise ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and resolve accounting inquiries with professionalism
