AI Software Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to develop and support modern business applications while helping teams safely adopt AI-powered development tools. This is a hands-on opportunity to build production-ready software, establish AI development standards, and collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver innovative solutions.

What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and Azure.
- Build secure APIs, backend services, and integrations connecting business applications, AI tools, and enterprise systems.
- Establish and manage AI-assisted development workflows, including code reviews, automated testing, security controls, and production deployments.
- Develop reusable AI coding tools, Claude skills, and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines to support reliable application development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement development standards, mentor nontechnical users, and ensure application performance, security, and maintainability.
What Gets You the Job:
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on expertise with Node.js, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Proven experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Codex to develop and maintain production applications.
- Strong experience designing REST APIs, integrating third-party services, and implementing secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure cloud services, GitHub administration, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep.
- Solid understanding of application security, automated testing, code reviews, and AI development guardrails, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
