Vice President of Accounting

- Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire
- Location: Onsite in Western United States
- Compensation: This job is expected to pay a base of about $210-230k plus bonus & relocation

What You’ll Do:
- Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes
- Lead accurate, GAAP-compliant financial reporting and drive stronger discipline across the reporting cycle
- Own the internal and external audit relationship, addressing gaps in past audit performance and building a stronger control environment going forward
- Direct accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage and develop accounting team members, raising the bar on technical strength and accountability across the department
What Gets You the Job:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), required
- Proven experience leading an accounting function through complex audits, with a track record of strong audit outcomes
- Experience in a large hospitality or casino resort environment, ideally within an integrated resort managing multiple systems and business lines
- Strong leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to build, develop, and elevate an accounting team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
