Technical Trainer, Structures
Our client is seeking a Technical Trainer, Structures to join their team on a 12-month contract. In this role, you’ll take the lead on transferring critical hands-on skills to technicians and engineers, helping the team master the precision techniques and quality standards used to build complex structural assemblies. - Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $45 – $60/hr

What You’ll Do:
- Provide technical training support for the Structures team, demonstrating expertise across critical structural assembly and quality processes
- Deliver hands-on demonstrations of advanced manufacturing techniques, including precision drilling, trimming, fitting, clamping, mixing, and sealant/lubricant application
- Train team members on proper fastener selection, installation, torque application, and QA buy-off procedures
- Support the development and documentation of training materials for structural manufacturing processes
What Gets You the Job:
- Proficiency in core structural manufacturing skills, including precision drilling, trimming, fitting, clamping, and proper mixing/application of aerospace sealants and lubricants
- Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance processes, including QA buy-off procedures, deburring to specification, fastener types and installation, and torque application, verification, and documentation
- Demonstrated skill operating specialized manufacturing equipment and precision measuring tools, such as rivet guns, calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to clearly and safely demonstrate techniques and explain complex processes
