IAM Engineer (Application Onboarding & Migration)
Our client is seeking an IAM Engineer to join their Identity & Access Management team and support a large-scale application migration initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational IAM experience who wants to expand their expertise working with modern identity technologies such as Okta or Microsoft Entra ID. You’ll partner with senior IAM engineers to onboard enterprise applications, implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and help strengthen secure access across the organization.

Location: Remote (U.S.) – Must be available to work Pacific Time business hours
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $50-60/hr W2

What You’ll Do:
- Onboard and integrate enterprise applications into Okta or Microsoft Entra ID for Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Configure, test, and validate SAML 2.0 and OIDC/OAuth authentication integrations before production deployment.
- Partner with application owners to gather technical requirements, coordinate onboarding activities, and support application migration efforts.
- Troubleshoot standard authentication issues, document integration processes, and maintain accurate migration tracking.
- Collaborate with senior IAM engineers on identity initiatives while building expertise in modern IAM technologies and best practices.
What Gets You the Job:
- 1–3 years of experience in Identity & Access Management, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or a related IT role.
- Hands-on experience with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), or another Identity Provider (IdP).
- Experience onboarding or integrating enterprise applications using SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and/or MFA.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to work directly with application owners and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, PowerShell, or enterprise application administration is a plus.
