Technical Analyst

What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze pricing performance, promotional effectiveness, price elasticity, and margin trends to identify opportunities for revenue and profitability optimization.
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and automated reporting solutions that provide visibility into pricing, merchandising, inventory, and retail performance metrics.
- Partner with Planning, Finance, Merchandising, and other stakeholders to evaluate pricing recommendations and measure business impact.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from cloud-based data platforms.
- Support advanced analytics and data science initiatives through data preparation, exploratory analysis, and validation of pricing and demand models.
What Gets You the Job:
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in retail analytics, pricing, business intelligence, merchandising, planning, or a related analytical function.
- Strong understanding of retail pricing concepts, including price elasticity, promotional strategy, markdown optimization, and margin performance.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience working in cloud data warehouse environments such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Expertise building dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or similar business intelligence tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience using analytical tools and methodologies to deliver actionable business insights; Python experience is a plus.
