Field Application Engineer
Our client is a family-owned group of construction and fleet companies operating across the Southwest, and they need a Field Application Engineer who makes field technology just work. This is a hands-on role where you will own the configuration, integration, and reliability of the platforms field crews depend on every day. You will prototype before you scale, run root cause analysis on every failure, and deliver solutions that hold up to real job site conditions. Job Type: Contract, with potential conversion to hire
Location: Hybrid in North Las Vegas, NV with limited onsite; open to remote candidates in NV, AZ, UT, or CA
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $85 – $105/HR W2

What You’ll Do:
- Own the technical configuration and integration of operations platforms, including data flows, APIs, and reporting pipelines.
- Configure and deploy user environments, manage deployment packages, and ensure device readiness for field applications.
- Provide field device support across tablets and mobile applications, including troubleshooting connectivity issues at job sites.
- Pilot every solution with field users before full rollout and conduct root cause analysis on every field technology failure.
- Partner with project managers, IT operations, and field teams to translate operational requirements into reliable technical solutions.
What Gets You the Job:
- 3+ years of application engineering, systems integration, or IT implementation experience.
- Procore or similar platform configuration and integration experience, strongly preferred.
- Experience deploying technology to non-technical field users in a construction or industrial environment.
- Proficiency with APIs, data connectors, and integration platforms, along with strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and driver approval process; ability to lift 25 lbs.
