HCM Integration Engineer
Irvine Technology Corporation (ITC) is partnering with a national mechanical construction organization to identify an experienced HCM Integration Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise systems transformation initiative. This role will focus on building and managing integrations across multiple business systems using middleware platforms such as Workato. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in data mapping, transformation, and enterprise integration patterns while working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders.

- Job Type: contract (12 months)
- Location: remote with up to 10% travel
- Compensation: $60-73/hr

What You’ll Do:
- Design, build, and maintain integrations using Workato recipes, APIs, and event-driven workflows to connect enterprise systems.
- Develop scalable integration patterns including real-time, batch, and hybrid data pipelines across business platforms.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation to ensure high-quality, reliable data flows between systems.
- Collaborate with business operations, enterprise architecture, and implementation partners to align integrations with enterprise platform strategy.
- Monitor integrations and data pipelines to ensure reliability through logging, error handling, performance monitoring, and data reconciliation.
What Gets You the Job:
- 5+ years of experience in integration engineering, middleware platforms, or enterprise systems integration.
- Hands-on experience with Workato or similar integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, etc.).
- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, event-driven architecture, and data transformation processes.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as ERP, HCM, workforce management, or operational platforms.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams and business stakeholders while managing multiple integrations and data pipelines.
