SharePoint Online Developer
Our client is modernizing how their teams connect, collaborate, and access critical information-and they need a skilled SharePoint professional to make it happen. This is a hands-on, 6-month contract opportunity to design and build a brand-new intranet from the ground up within an existing Microsoft 365 environment. You’ll work directly with internal stakeholders, drive the project independently, and deliver a clean, modern digital workplace that real people will use every day. - Job Type: Contract (6-Month, with potential extension)
- Location: Onsite – Chandler, AZ
- Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $46-50/hr

What You’ll Do:
- Design and build a modern SharePoint Online intranet using Modern Experience, including a home site and departmental workspace sites with intuitive navigation, consistent branding, and mobile-friendly layouts.
- Migrate and restructure content from a legacy WordPress intranet, cleaning up, reorganizing, and applying metadata and tagging to improve searchability and usability.
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Teams and configure Viva Connections to enable seamless access to intranet content within the Teams environment.
- Build automated workflows, digital forms, and approval routing using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Lists) to streamline common business processes.
- Gather requirements directly from internal stakeholders, develop user documentation and quick reference guides, and conduct training sessions to drive adoption.
What Gets You the Job:
- Proven, hands-on experience building and deploying SharePoint Online sites end-to-end using Modern Experience-actual build and delivery, not just design or consulting.
- Experience migrating content from a legacy platform (WordPress experience strongly preferred), with the ability to clean up, reorganize, and tag content for a modern environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) for workflow automation, form creation, and process improvement.
- Ability to work independently as the sole developer on a project, proactively gathering requirements and driving deliverables forward with minimal supervision.
- Professional presence and ability to operate effectively in a government or law enforcement setting; an extensive background check (including criminal history and likely drug screening) is required.
