Director, IT Operations
Our client is seeking an experienced IT leader to oversee technology operations across a multi-location enterprise environment. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent, reliable, and well-coordinated IT services across several large and geographically distributed sites. The ideal candidate is a confident, hands-on IT operations leader who understands enterprise IT, communicates effectively with executive leadership, and ensures vendors and partners deliver high-quality results.
This is a highly visible position that serves as a key IT liaison for senior leaders across the organization. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, technical credibility, executive presence, and the ability to lead through influence in an environment with multiple stakeholders and external partners.

Location: Palm Beach County, FL Area (Hybrid)
Compensation: This job is expected to pay $160-170K base salary

What You’ll Do
- Provide regional leadership for IT operations across multiple locations, serving as the primary IT point of contact for local and executive leadership
- Oversee infrastructure, end-user services, connectivity, hardware, and vendor-delivered IT services to ensure performance, reliability, and responsiveness
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by delivering clear updates, following up on commitments, and making informed decisions during incidents or escalations
- Coordinate IT initiatives, operational changes, and issue resolution across locations while maintaining clear and consistent communication
- Maintain strong onsite visibility through regular site visits, operational check-ins, and engagement with local leadership and IT partners
- Drive accountability with external vendors and service providers, ensuring service expectations and outcomes are met
What Gets You the Job
- Proven experience leading IT operations across multiple sites or locations in a complex enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, end-user support, and operational IT functions, with the ability to assess issues and ask the right technical questions
- Experience working directly with executive leadership, including escalation management, decision support, and regular status reporting
- Confident leadership style with the ability to influence outcomes, drive accountability, and operate effectively without direct reports
- Willingness to travel frequently between locations, maintain hands-on visibility, and provide on-call support as needed
