Sourcing Specialist
Our client is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support high-volume, fast-paced sourcing initiatives with a strong focus on compliance, cost optimization, and supplier engagement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning multiple sourcing events at once, partnering closely with internal stakeholders, and driving value through structured sourcing, negotiation, and contract execution.

Compensation: This job is expected to pay $50–55/hr W2

What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent sourcing events, overseeing timelines, stakeholder alignment, and delivery of targeted outcomes such as cost savings and supplier optimization.
- Facilitate compliant RFP processes from initiation through award, ensuring adherence to governance standards and internal policies.
- Draft, review, and enhance Statements of Work (SOWs) to improve clarity, value realization, and risk mitigation.
- Partner with internal teams and suppliers to support negotiations, contract discussions, and ongoing sourcing initiatives.
- Apply governance standards and best practices to sourcing, renegotiation, and engagement processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
What Gets You the Job
- Proven experience leading sourcing events and managing multiple projects simultaneously within defined timelines.
- Strong understanding of compliant RFP processes, supplier negotiations, and SOW development and review.
- Experience working with sourcing and procurement tools such as Workday, Ariba, or similar platforms.
- Solid Excel skills, including pivot tables and basic reporting or analytics.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
