Data Analyst – Power BI & Azure Databricks
Our client is looking for a Data Analyst who enjoys turning complex data into clean, reliable insights that people actually trust and use. This role sits at the heart of modern analytics work, supporting enterprise Power BI models and a cloud-based data warehouse built on Azure Databricks. - Compensation: This job is expected to pay about 140-150k

What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performing Power BI semantic models that support reporting, analytics, and decision-making
- Develop and optimize star and snowflake schemas, including fact and dimension tables aligned to business needs
- Create accurate and efficient DAX measures following performance and modeling best practices
- Contribute to a cloud-based data warehouse in Azure Databricks, building transformations using SQL and or PySpark
- Partner with BI developers, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate business questions into scalable analytical models
What Gets You the Job:
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in a data analyst, BI analyst, or analytics-focused role, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong Power BI data modeling experience, including DAX development and performance tuning
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and transformation
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses or Lakehouse architectures, including Databricks concepts
- Experience working with large, complex datasets where accuracy and performance matter
