Jr. Help Desk Technician
Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Help Desk Technician to join their IT support team and serve as a first point of contact for internal users. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technologies, and providing great customer service. The role is well suited for junior-level professionals or recent graduates eager to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Location: Jersey City, NJ 07302 (Onsite Monday-Friday)
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $20–22/hr W2

What You’ll Do
- Provide first-level technical support to end users via phone and email, ensuring timely and professional assistance
- Log, track, and update support tickets while documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions
- Perform initial diagnostics and resolve common hardware, software, and Windows-based issues
- Install, configure, and update workstations, applications, peripherals, and basic hardware components
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks and follow up with users to confirm issues are fully resolved
What Gets You the Job
- Junior-level IT experience or strong interest in starting a career in technical support
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field (or in progress) is a plus for entry-level candidates
- Familiarity with Windows environments and basic desktop support concepts
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Exposure to tools such as Okta, Jira, or Google Workspace is a plus but not required
