Sr. Network Engineer/Consultant
Our client is looking for a Senior Network Engineer/Consultant who wants to design and shape modern, secure network environments at scale. This role blends deep technical expertise with strategic influence, giving you the chance to define standards, guide architecture decisions, and act as a trusted voice for network direction across the organization. - Compensation: This job is expected to pay about 160-180k

What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure enterprise network architectures that support evolving business needs
- Evaluate existing LAN, WAN, and MAN environments and recommend modern solutions, including SDN, intent-based networking, and segmentation strategies
- Create and maintain network architecture standards, documentation, and design artifacts
- Lead network design efforts involving routing, switching, encryption, and telecommunications circuits
- Provide senior-level guidance, testing support, and knowledge sharing across teams and stakeholders
What Gets You the Job:
Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and supporting enterprise network environments, with deep Cisco expertise
- Strong knowledge of routing and Layer 2 technologies, including BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, GRE, STP, MST, and VLANs
- Experience with large-scale LAN/WAN architectures, traffic engineering, and complex troubleshooting
- Familiarity with SDN concepts and exposure to cloud networking in AWS and/or Azure
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to act as a technical leader and trusted advisor
