Technical Project Manager (POS Systems)
Our client is seeking an IT Technical Project Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and execution of technology initiatives that directly support business growth and operational excellence. This role sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and leadership, driving projects that impact both internal teams and customer experiences. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on mindset, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes ownership during critical initiatives such as system rollouts, new location openings, and platform improvements.

- Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $140-150k/year

What You’ll Do:
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of technology projects, including hardware, software, and system implementations across the organization.
- Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and testing to ensure new systems and restaurant locations are fully operational before launch.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Food & Beverage, and external vendors to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Oversee Point-of-Sale ecosystems, online ordering platforms, and omni-channel sales initiatives within a multi-unit environment.
- Mentor, coach, and support IT team members while managing workloads, priorities, and on-call support during critical rollouts.
What Gets You the Job:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing IT or technical projects in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems, online ordering platforms, ERP, HR systems, and Microsoft-based technologies.
- Strong ability to document and manage business and technical requirements while translating needs for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, work independently, and proactively resolve issues.
