BI Systems Administrator
Our client is seeking a BI Systems Administrator to support and administer enterprise Business Intelligence platforms during a multi-year data warehouse modernization initiative. This role plays a critical part in maintaining current BI systems while supporting a strategic transition to modern cloud-based analytics platforms. You’ll work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and vendors to ensure BI tools remain stable, secure, and optimized as the environment evolves.

Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $45-60/hr on contract

What You’ll Do:
- Administer, manage, and support enterprise BI applications, ensuring system availability, performance monitoring, and user licensing
- Manage upgrades, patches, issue tracking, batch jobs, file transfers, and environment configurations across BI platforms
- Serve as the primary liaison to BI system vendors for licensing, configurations, upgrades, and issue resolution
- Maintain system security by managing users, roles, permissions, and security groups across BI tools
- Support data warehouse initiatives and BI projects in partnership with data engineers and analytics stakeholders
What Gets You the Job:
- 2+ years of experience administering Business Intelligence platforms in an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake administration and Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory
- Administration experience with one or more BI tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, or Tableau
- Strong understanding of system upgrades, patching, audits, compliance, and BI security practices
- Solid communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and ability to support users and stakeholders effectively
