IAM Engineer – Active Directory / Entra ID
6-Month W2 Contract | Fully Remote (EST Hours)
Client: Large Enterprise Healthcare Provider
Overview
We are seeking a senior IAM Engineer for a 6-month W2-only contract (no C2C / no third-party vendors). This role is fully remote, working EST hours, and blends hands-on operations and engineering in a large, enterprise healthcare environment.
The focus is deep expertise in Active Directory and Entra ID, supporting complex, multi-domain environments.
Responsibilities

Engineer and support Active Directory and Entra ID in a hybrid enterprise environment

Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, replication, and performance issues

Design and manage Group Policy (GPOs)

Support identity federation and hybrid identity integrations

Automate IAM operations using PowerShell

Partner with security and infrastructure teams on IAM initiatives
Requirements
-
5+ years of enterprise IAM experience

Advanced expertise in Active Directory

Strong experience with Entra ID

Advanced PowerShell scripting

Strong understanding of DNS, LDAP/LDAPS, SSL/TLS, PKI

Experience with Azure, M365, Windows Server, and VMware
