System Administrator
Our client is looking for a proactive and technically skilled System Administrator to oversee and maintain their Microsoft cloud environment, Cisco network infrastructure, and Avaya telephony systems. This role is key to keeping their multi-campus environment secure, efficient, and high-performing. The right candidate will be someone who enjoys solving complex challenges, thrives in a collaborative team setting, and takes pride in delivering reliable IT solutions that support organizational success.

- Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $95k-100k

What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft 365 services to ensure seamless identity, access, and device management.
- Monitor performance and implement best practices to strengthen cloud security and compliance.
- Support and optimize Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams to enhance communication and collaboration.
- Manage device provisioning, application deployment, and endpoint protection across the organization.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi infrastructure across multiple campuses.
- Maintain strong network performance and security through proactive monitoring and patch management.
- Administer Avaya phone systems, user extensions, and voicemail configurations, ensuring reliable telephony operations.
- Troubleshoot VoIP issues and coordinate with vendors for escalated support when needed.
What Gets You the Job:
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a System Administrator or similar technical role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Working knowledge of Cisco networking and firewall management.
- Experience supporting or managing VoIP/telephony systems such as Avaya.
- Understanding of IT security best practices and compliance frameworks; relevant Cisco or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
