Lead Software Developer
Our client is looking for a hands-on Lead Software Developer to guide their development team in delivering high-quality applications and solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of leadership and technical problem-solving, while also contributing to modernizing and optimizing critical systems. You’ll play a key role in shaping scalable applications that align with business goals, while mentoring and collaborating with a talented team.

- Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $70-85/hour W2
- Duration: Contract to Hire

What You’ll Do:
- Lead the design, coding, testing, and debugging of applications while setting quality standards for the team
- Collaborate across Development, QA, and DevOps to drive a streamlined and effective SDLC
- Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and project managers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices and consistent coding standards
- Support project coordination through documentation, planning, and monitoring of technical deliverables
What Gets You the Job:
- 8–10 years of experience in software development with leadership responsibilities
- Strong experience with PHP, CodeIgniter, or Laravel; open to candidates with solid backend skills in Java, .NET, C#, or Azure plus basic PHP knowledge
- Proficiency in databases (MSSQL, MySQL) and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or jQuery
- Skilled in CI/CD practices, version control, pipelines, and release management (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile methodology, RESTful development, and containerization tools like Docker
