Departmental Applications Developer (Remote)
Join our client’s fast-paced healthcare technology team as a Departmental Applications Developer, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing clinical applications and reports. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about healthcare data, who enjoys working across systems like Altera Allscripts, and who can contribute to the reliability and efficiency of critical clinical infrastructure.

Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $60–$85 per hour

What You’ll Do:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance SQL-based reports and ETL processes using SSRS and SSIS.
- Support administration and provide backup coverage for Altera Allscripts MACs EHR.
- Oversee issue resolution, perform system monitoring, and deliver user support across key departmental applications.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure high-quality data delivery.
- Assist with upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management of supported systems.
What Gets You the Job:
- Hands-on experience with Altera Allscripts MACs EHR administration, including user setup and troubleshooting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL query development and report creation using Microsoft SSRS/SSIS.
- Understanding of clinical data structures and workflows in healthcare environments.
- Familiarity with Quanum, MIDAS, or Lumedx systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI compliance requirements is preferred.
